We are a london-based demi-fine jewellery studio founded by two young designers:tansy aspinall & Victoria van Holthe
How did you meet?
We met on day one of secondary school, aged 13. It didn't take too many cups of tea to discover that we shared the same aesthetic and dream of starting a jewellery brand. Before long we embarked upon the design journey that would eventually become Tada & Toy.
Why Tada & Toy?
Tada is Tansy's childhood nickname and Toy is Victoria's. We wanted a name that was unique, personal and could become its own entity.

WE BLEND FUN PLAYFUL DESIGNS WITH TIMELESS SCANDINAVIAN STYLE, CREATING AFFORDABLE, HIGH QUALITY PIECES THAT ARE PERFECT FOR LAYERING
What's the big idea?
Tada & Toy designs jewellery to love, layer & last
As designers we are driven to create jewellery that is accessible, modern and always effortlessly chic. The collections are designed to bring a little bit of sparkle and luxury to your everyday life - simple enough to be worn all the time and stackable for more of a statement look. The jewellery seeks to celebrate and embrace individuality so customers can create their own look with our jewellery. Each design has a playful Tada & Toy twist offering an edge whilst retaining an approachable friendly feel.
We source the best materials for all our products and they are designed to last, despite the accessible price point. Beneath the veneer of our delicate aesthetic, all the jewellery is designed with the practicalities of everyday use in mind.

THE LOOK
A playful amalgamation of Indian embellishment and Swedish Scandinavian style.
During our production travels to India, where the sun is always shining and the women are adorned in incredible jewellery we get inspired to re-interpret the unusual body jewellery with a playful Tada & Toy twist. The contrasting element to embellished Indian style comes from our love for minimal Scandinavian design. Victoria being half Swedish has, through her mother and grandmother, always been inspired by the Scandi minimal style. Sharing that love of a clean masculine aesthetic with Tansy, Tada & Toy designs were born.

Why The Aspinall Foundation?
The Aspinall Foundation was founded by Tansy's grandfather in 1984. The foundation has two wildlife parks in the U.K and supports a number of conservation projects oversees, all with the goal to protect endangered species.
The Work So Far
The Foundation believes that the reintroduction of animals into their natural habitats can help conserve wildlife and their habitat. Over the past few years alone, they have released a range of animals including 8 black rhino, 49 Javan langurs, 9 Javan gibbon, 11 European bison and over 60 western lowland gorillas back to their natural habitat.

Ethical & sustainable. all of our designs are responsibly manufactured and sourced
Sustainability
All of our pieces are produced in hand-picked artisan workshops in Jaipur, India, with the guidance of our third business partner, Shubhi Kumar (aka. production guru). We have personally chosen factories which align with our beliefs and sustainability efforts. As part of our commitment to ethical and environmentally-conscious sourcing, our factories are certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council, a not-for-profit standard-setting and certification organization.
The Responsible Jewellery Council exists to secure a commitment to responsible business practices, to protect health and safety of both people and environments, and to use natural resources efficiently and to increase the use of due diligence in supply chains to uphold human rights, support community development and manage sourcing risks. As proud members of RJC, we can be confident that our factories comply with international labour conventions and ensure responsible working conditions, which is really important to us!
The quality and detail of our products is of utmost importance, each new design goes through a rigorous testing process before making it into the shop.
Packaging
Our packaging is either reusable and/or recyclable. Using linen fabrics and wooden boxes, we design packaging that we hope you will keep and store your jewels in for many years to come! The DPD delivery bags in which your Tada and Toy orders will arrive are 100% biodegradable.
Recycled Gold and Silver
We are excited to announce that as of 2021, all designs are being made using Recycled 18ct Gold and Recycled Sterling Silver, certified by RJC. We are also exploring recycled brass options so that plated products can be 100% recycled.
